Carmen, Ohio State's online learning management system, automatically provides a blank course shell for every course in the Registrar's Master Schedule. Course shells are typically created 6 weeks prior to the start of the quarter. Each course shell comes complete with a class roster and a set of course tools. Instructors must activate their courses when ready for student access.
Carmen space can also be requested for other university purposes. Complete the request form for assistance.
