Users can store upt to 50 MB of files (word processing, spreadsheet, zip files, and graphics documents) in a personal Locker. Monitor your remaining locker space in the Locker Usage frame. For more information about setting up Group lockers, see the Groups page.
Most of the instructions on this page can be used by both instructors and students. Some sections apply only to instructors.
All files that are stored in a personal locker are confidential and can only be accessed by the person who owns the locker. A file owner can set a file as pubicly available.
The Personal Locker is available to all Carmen users from the Welcome bar on the Carmen Homepage. Click Locker in the Welcome Bar to open your personal locker.
To make the Locker available in a course, instructors will need to add it to the navigation bar. This is recommended when using Group Lockers.
Locker is not a default option for the Course Home page. To access Locker, you must first add the Locker button to the Navigation Bar.
1. Open your Locker. If group lockers are available, select Group Lockers from the upper menu bar and, if needed, click the link for the desired group locker.
2. Click Upload New File.
3. Click Browse and find the file to upload.
4. Click Upload. Choose a destination folder, if needed.
5. Click Return to Locker or click Upload New File if you want to add another file.

2. Click New File.
3. Provide a name for your filde. Choose a destination folder, if needed.
4. Enter your text using the HTML editor.
5. Click Create to save your file.

2. Right-click the file name you wish to download.
3. Select Save Target As...
4. Specify where you want to save the file on your computer.
5. Click Save.

Edit icon.
4. Type or edit the Description. Edit HTML text. Change file availability.
5. Click Save to return to the Locker page.

There are two ways to make a file in your personal locker public:
Check Is Public when uploading a new file.
When editing file properties, check Is Public.
